The New York Times, bias and Hillary Clinton (The Hill)

Analysis:

This editorial from "The Hill" explores the role bias has played in the coverage of Hillary Clinton in this election, but also addresses the issue of bias in the larger context of modern journalism. This article addresses a lot of the issues we've addresses in class, such as the role confirmation bias has played in perceptions of whether or not a news outlet is biased towards one candidate. The article points out that the New York Times, in spite of their usual principle of objectivity, have shown clear bias towards Hillary over Bernie through agenda setting, framing and a generally positive tone towards Clinton and a generally negative tone towards Sanders.
