Hillary Clinton for the Democratic Nomination (NYT)

Analysis:

This NYT piece from the editorial board endorses the candidacy of Hillary Clinton for president as one of the "most qualified in modern history". Compared to other NYT pieces, it is far less critical of Bernie Sanders, giving him credit for bringing important issues to the forefront of the political dialogue. However, they refrain the critique of his goals being unrealistic and say he "lacks experience" (A dubious assertion considering he served in public office long before she did). A key framing device of this article is to paint Hillary as the pinnacle of pragmatic, realistic liberalism by pitting her policies against the Republican field as opposed to Sanders.
