First Read: Are Rubio and Sanders Playing to Win? (NBCNews)

-Dylan Stump

Analysis:

This article analyzes the campaigns of both Marco Rubio and Bernie Sanders and asks if either campaign's strategy is aiming to win. While this article does a good job of outlining some of the strategic failings of these respective campaigns, namely their reluctance to attack the respective front-runners, I think the central argument that they are not "in it to win it" is not valid, but merely that both campaigns are fighting against foes with strong advantages (Trump's populist appeal and name recognition, Clinton's name recognition and support amongst party elites).

CNN Democratic Town Hall: The Biggest Winner Was… (The Young Turks)

-Dylan Stump

Analysis:

This commentary video argues that between the two candidates, Clinton was the winner of the CNN Town Hall forum. Although they argue that Clinton was the winner, they argue that it was by virtue of the fact that she didn't stumble and is merely fending off Bernie. They criticize her for having vague answers on some of the issues.

Hillary Clinton’s Path Is Clear (Slate)

-Dylan Stump

Analysis:

This article examines the results of the recent Nevada caucus, arguing that Clinton's win there sets her on an inevitable path to victory. Though the article backs up this assertion with some facts, it doesn't really acknowledge the fact that Sanders has gained on Clinton in many national polls while Clinton has only lost ground in the polling to Sanders in the primary races so far.
